The Certified Professional in Model Optimal Care (CP-MOC) designation is a professional credential designed for benefits directors, HR executives, CFOs, TPAs, PBMs, brokers, consultants, and healthcare policymakers who manage or advise on employer-sponsored health plans. The certification validates mastery of the Model Optimal Care framework, a structured, data-driven approach to eliminating waste in self-insured health plans.

The CP-MOC program is structured around six courses, each covering a distinct domain of competency. Courses must be completed in sequence. Each course concludes with a domain quiz requiring a minimum score of 80% to advance. After completing all six courses, candidates must pass a comprehensive 125-question certification exam with a minimum score of 75%.
