📖 Individual Retail Orders (1–24 Copies)
If you purchased an individual copy (or up to 24 copies) directly from this website, you are eligible for a return or exchange under the following conditions:
- Return Window: You must request a return within 14 days of the confirmed USPS delivery date.
- Item Condition: To be eligible for a full refund, the book(s) must be unused, unmarked, unread, and in the exact same pristine condition that you received them.
- Return Shipping: Buyers are responsible for paying their own return shipping costs. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service (like USPS Media Mail with tracking), as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
🏢 Corporate & Bulk Orders (25+ Copies)
Orders of 25 copies or more qualify for our tiered bulk discounts and are submitted to our printing networks (Amazon KDP / IngramSpark) to be printed on demand specifically for your organization.
- All Bulk Sales Are Final: Because these books are manufactured specifically to fulfill your large order, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the order is in and the printing process has begun.
- Sample Copies: If you are a corporate buyer making a large order, we highly recommend purchasing a single retail copy from our website first to ensure the format, content, and quality meet your expectations before locking in a bulk order.
🛠️ Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
If your book arrives damaged in transit, has a manufacturing defect (such as misprinted pages or a warped spine), or you received the wrong item, we will fix it immediately at no cost to you.
- Reporting Window: Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 72 hours of receipt.
- Required Proof: Email us at orders@modeloptimalcare.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the damage or defect (including photos of the shipping box if it was damaged in transit).
- The Resolution: For verified damaged or defective items, we will ship out a replacement copy immediately or issue a full refund, including original shipping costs. For bulk corporate orders, we will coordinate directly with our printer to expedite a replacement shipment to your address.
💰 How Refunds Are Processed
Once your return is received and inspected at our office, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your item and whether your refund is approved.
- Approved Refunds: Your refund will be processed automatically, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (via Stripe) within 5 to 10 business days.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account or credit card statement again. It often takes some processing time before a refund is officially posted by your financial institution. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.
